FA Respect Programme

October 21, 2021

Hampshire FA is becoming increasingly concerned over the high level of misconduct cases across the County over the past few weeks. This has manifested itself in high levels of abuse not only towards referees but amongst players and officials, particularly at the youth level.

This trend cannot and must not continue and we are therefore appealing to all leagues and clubs to ensure The FA Respect Programme is reinforced and adhered to utilising the attached document and shared with all members as we all have a responsibility individually and collectively. We have also received enquiries around the Roles and Responsibilities of the Respect Steward which is included within the document.

The Respect for Coaches course is still available via the link below and would encourage you to promote this to all members within your club especially parents:

The above link will prompt the learner to log into FA Learning with their email and password.

We want ALL participants to be able to enjoy our wonderful game so please take notice that we will not tolerate the minority spoiling it for the majority.

Kind regards,

Charlotte Langley-Brown
