About Us

WELCOME

The club was founded in 1966 by Anthony Witt (Tony Witt) and gets its name from Brendon Green, which is a patch of grass in Millbrook where it all began. We still train in Millbrook, albeit no longer on Brendon Green.

In 2018 the club attained the ‘FA Chartered Standard Club’ status for the first time. In 2021 now renamed ‘England Football Accredited Club.’

Each team plays approximately 22 games per season plus any tournaments we enter during the Summer months, in front of an estimation of 1000’s spectators per season.

We play in the Eastleigh & District Mini Soccer League U7s – U10s and Southampton & District Tyro League U11s – U15s.

In 2020 we took on two PAN Disability teams and as we advance into 2021 we have created a

U12’s Inclusive Black (PAN Disability)

U12’s Inclusive Orange (PAN Disability)

U16’s Inclusive (PAN Disability)

16+ Inclusive Black (PAN Disability)

16+ Inclusive Orange (PAN Disability)

Our PAN Disability teams play in the Eastleigh FC Community Trust PAN Disability Leagues (EFCCT).

Kick It Out Equality Chartered Club
Tackling racismhttps://www.kickitout.org/ and discrimination

In early May 2022, we attained Kick It Out Equality Charter Club status. We adhere to the following equality, inclusion and discrimination guidelines set out by Kick It Out. We are committed to ensuring a safe environment for all participants by applying equality, diversity and inclusion in our day to day operations.

The club is run entirely by unpaid volunteers. At Brendon 66 Youth Football Club, we believe strongly that regular involvement in sporting activities for young people brings a multitude of advantages, not just for them but for society as a whole.
