Well done to the U8’s this morning.
Who have been chasing and looking forward for this moment for a while. Just a shame we had to keep our celebrations a bit low key, from a player and spectator point of view.
Without the coaching from the sidelines apart from our team talk after every ten minutes, I thought the players did themselves proud out there today.
Of all days, today was something special being that it was The FA “Their Game – Let Them Play” / Remembrance Sunday.
Solid in defence/defensively, some great recovery runs to protect our goal.
Bravery on the ball and off the ball.
Great movements with the ball, drawing the opposition out of formation and exploiting the gaps.
We had more shots on target and could of had more goals.
All in all the players, parents and coaches are well pleased with todays result, a real turning point and testament to all their hardwork and determination at training and match days, they’ve learned, listened and improved their game, never giving up.
